What to Expect from Treatment

Initial Session Overview:

The purpose of the initial session is to gain a comprehensive understanding of your background, challenges, and therapy goals. This extended session takes 1.5 hours and allows Kirsten to develop a tailored treatment plan that suits your needs. While treatment won't be provided during this session, initial impressions and potential causes will be discussed. Further details will be explored in subsequent sessions, which are 50 minutes in length.

Therapeutic Process:

Therapy is a flexible process tailored to your individual circumstances. While it's not an exact science, Kirsten applies evidence-based psychological strategies, tools, and techniques to support your journey. Sometimes solutions are quickly found, while other times it's a process of trial and error until what works best for you is discovered.

Collaborative Approach:

Building a strong therapeutic relationship is essential for successful outcomes. Kirsten recognizes that individuals have different preferences and goals for therapy. Whether you prefer structured sessions or a more exploratory approach, collaboration ensures the process aligns with your needs. Your feedback and experiences are valuable in shaping the direction of therapy.
